CCostify: Expense Tracker AppCostify is an iOS expense tracker built for people who split costs with others as much as they track their own spending — travel groups, shared flats, couples, and everyday budgeting. It's built and maintained by a single indie developer, Marlon Joel Pitters, who has developed it largely in public.
Core features:
Multiple trackers for trips, projects, or everyday expenses
Virtual accounts that mirror bank accounts, cash wallets, or savings funds
Shared trackers with real-time visibility into group spending and automatic cost-splitting
Smart Receipt Scan for faster expense entry
Installment plan tracking with flexible/extra payments
Apple Pay automation via Shortcuts — expenses log automatically after a tap-to-pay purchase
Monthly budget overview and spending analytics
Built-in currency converter
CSV/PDF export
Available in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish
Status: Early-stage. As of writing, Costify holds a 2.8/5 rating from 6 App Store reviews, with recent reviews citing performance and automation reliability issues — both of which the developer has responded to directly and says are an active focus of ongoing updates. Version history shows frequent iteration: six point releases between January and June 2026.
Note on naming: There are several unrelated companies also named "Costify" — including a construction-industry project management SaaS platform in Australia and a refurbished-appliances marketplace in India. None of these are affiliated with Marlon Joel Pitters' Costify expense tracker.
